GTC Systems hosts another successful Citrix Executive Briefing and Luncheon
Event in Los Angeles includes special guests Gordon Payne and Brad Peterson from Citrix, Charles Kanavel, IT Director of Campbell Union High School District.

October 19, 2010 – Gordon Payne, (Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Desktop Division at Citrix) delivered yet another compelling presentation to CIOs and other top IT executives on the features and benefits of Desktop Virtualization.
Gordon clearly explained how innovative technologies in XenDesktop enable a more flexible, mobile and agile desktop computing environment. He also showed that XenDesktop, built on an open, scalable, proven architecture, provides the simplicity, flexibility and scalability to meet any requirement, while fully leveraging current and future investments.
Mr. Charles Kanavel, IT Director of Campbell Union High School District shared his recent experiences with their organization going to a virtual desktop. Those experiences included a realistic cost savings of $4 million of the next eight years, versus what we were doing previously. After examining options, Campbell Union decided upon desktop virtualization through Citrix® XenDesktop™, Platinum Edition. "I looked at virtualization to see if we could cut costs and maintenance issues. We decided upon Citrix because Citrix wins the desktop battle hands down" Kanavel stated.
Lastly, we would like to thank Mr. Brad Peterson, Citrix's Chief Demo Engineer for the impressive demo of the desktop virtualization technology at this event.
GTC Systems would like to extend our thanks to our special guests, sponsors, and most importantly, everyone who attended.
"We look forward to another year as one of Citrix’s prominent Platinum Solution Advisors, as well as a trusted Citrix partner to our many clients nationwide to help with offering IT as a service using Desktop Virtualization." added Keith Michael Esshaki, CEO of GTC Systems.
