GTC Systems wins multi-year contract to host mission critical application for a major Hospitality Industry Customer

Leveraging our redundant and robust infrastructure at our state of the art data center, GTC Systems Inc. begins implementation of an application hosting solution to be accessed by customers on a worldwide basis.
The Challenge
Our customer needed to provide access to a home-grown mission critical application using a major database vendor for a worldwide end user population. They had two choices:
- To build a whole new infrastructure to host the new application.
- Or, to outsource the hosting of the application to a managed hosting provider.
The Solution
GTC was chosen as the Managed Hosting Provider leveraging our highly redundant virtualized infrastructure. The customer is paying a very reasonable fixed monthly fee to host their application.

Had they decided to procure their own equipment, train their people and install all the new hardware and software components, it would have taken weeks if not months and it would have been with a lot of risk.

Since the customer doesn’t own the infrastructure needed to host the application, they don’t have to worry about the maintenance, security and ongoing support of the infrastructure. The GTC Team does all of these things for them.
