Microsoft Exchange upgrade project for a County Government in northern California

The Challenge 

The customer was running Exchange 2003 on physical hosts. This older version was causing performance issues that the customer wanted resolved. In addition there were features lacking that were needed.

The Solution 

GTC recommended upgrading to Microsoft Exchange 2010. In addition it was recommended to perform the implementation on a VMware virtualized infrastructure leveraging share storage

The Benefits

With the upgrade the customer is able to take advantage of a more stable and redundant architecture for their Exchange environment.

In addition the improved legal features (Legal Hold & Multi Mailbox Search) improved compliance for the court.
