Secure Remote Access
This solution - usually appliance based (either physical or virtual) - provides secure gateway access to applications and data hosted centrally at the main data center. It is a Linux hardened appliance that sits in the DMZ and controls authentication into the network.
It can include end-point-analysis to grant a certain level of access to the user based on a pre-defined policy depending on where the user is coming from and what desktop they are using.
